Since 2018, The University of Music Karlsruhe has been in cooperative partnership with the Baden-Württemberg Foundation/Kinderland Foundation Cultural Academy.
This nationwide free initiative encourages talented pupils in visual arts; mathematics, informatics, natural sciences, and technology (MINT); music; and literature. As a result, young people interested in music at CampusOne - Gottesaue Palace experience music in all its facets and expressions and gain insight into the diverse range of study areas at the University of Music Karlsruhe.
In instrumental and vocal lessons or ensemble music, composition, musical theater, music education, music theory and musicology, students explore a wide range of musical areas with lecturers from the University of Music Karlsruhe. They thereby gain motivation for their own activity and creativity. Together, exciting insights are experienced into the latest developments in music journalism and computer science. Joint concerts and theater visits complement the creative weeks of the Cultural Academy at the University of Music Karlsruhe, culminating in a diverse stage presentation at the joint closing event.
